Our first CD is a celebration of not quite ten years of Not What You Think. We wanted to compile a record of our time together. We culled through years worth of live performance recordings to assemble those that reflected favorite moments, favorite friends, favorite songs, favorite audience sounds (listen for the book dropping! We took out the sneeze.) as well as audience favorites. We hope you enjoy the end result as much as we do!

Never Give Up compiles popular selections from our repertoire, including music by Dr. Ysaye Maria Barnwell, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, James Taylor, Holly Near, and Don McLean, and several traditional South African songs. 

The CD captures NWYT’s dedication to our mission of singing about social justice and humor.
